The auditorium of the Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands. Brutalism isn't my favourite style of architecture, but I always find the juxtaposition of angular, raw concrete with chaotic wild nature fascinating. #architecture #photography #wederopbouw #wederopbouwwoensdag #brutalism

An interesting glimpse of a Hollywood blockbuster that never was. I rather love the original books as well as Whelan's designs for the movie. That test footage looks great. I would've loved to see more of that puppet in action (even if the voice work is ...well let's not forget it was only a test)
In this week's newsletter, one of my fleeting brushes with Hollywood. The Hoka movie that almost was... open.substack.com/pub/theartof...

This #CDFriday Bucky's 90's nostalgia revisits that one Crowded House album after the one you all remember. Subdued, detailed, and intimate, It was somewhat buried under the sonic onslaught of early 90's alternative rock.

Some more images from the Fellenoord office blocks in the Dutch town of Eindhoven. Like the neighbourhood that preceded it, this complex will soon disappear, demolished to make way for luxury apartments. #architecture #photography #brutalism #travel #wederopbouw #wederopbouwwoensdag

Happy #wallwednesday! After coming across the #photography of @joostmarkerink.eurosky.social some time ago, scenes like this are known in my braincanon as "Markerinkies".

Just asking my Bluesky cirle here. Does anyone know of a good alternative on Linux for tools like Glaze or Nightshade?

Bucky's 90's Nostalgia goes France for #CDFriday. Niagara was frequently described as France's version of Eurythmics. Although by the early 90's they beefed up their sound considerably and were more comparable to a heavier version of Roxette. Regardless, fun stuff. ^_^
