So much for everyone saying Rivian was ignoring R1 vehicles in favor of R2. If only we could get lame on command in Gen1. Lots of Apple Music improvements that I'll only believe when I see them also.

This does terrify me. It's not only seniors, but a ton of people I observe clearly paying no attention whatsoever to the road in Tesla vehicles because the marketing tells them they don't need to. I've seen people watching Youtube, TikTok, and even reading on devices in the driver's seat recently.

Tesla's deceptive marketing is convincing seniors that the cars drive themselves. In reality, a human must always be ready to intervene. If someone lacks the ability to do that, they shouldn't be driving!
This is pretty crazy. I can't think of another example where a manufacturer completely killed functionality and had to pay owners compensation for it. Volvo really seems to be in a bad cycle of self-owns right now and hopefully can get beyond it for their upcoming roadmap.

This network is going to be a big, big deal. Having charging at a place people already visit at least once a week makes EV ownership a viable alternative for so many. Just seeing chargers in the parking lot can give people the confidence to make that leap.

Another doomed manufacturer in my opinion. Honda had a great thing going but didn't know how to or want to capitalize on it and is instead burying their heads in the sand.

In some ways, I think VW might be more dependent on Rivian in their join venture than the other way around. They are getting closer and closer to a dead brand in the US, and have shown incompetence like this with basic EV stuff and software overall that is just incredible and seems willful.

I hope to get behind the wheel of the EX60 very soon. It's shaping up to be another amazing option on paper that compares well with the iX3 and R2. And I have always loved a good Volvo.
