“Gay, not queer” folks are gay MAGA. Paranoid, selfish tools of fascists.
This is the intersection of white queer bullshit and “just asking questions” that is better left in your drafts.

I finished the first draft of the book proposal for a new project that's (hopefully) going to be a big departure from my work so far. I'm so stoked to have finished it and now desperately want this book in the world. It combines two of my biggest joys and passions. let's go!
Ever leave a movie and think, “Damn. That is the best movie of the worst script I’ve seen in a while.” #DisclosureDay Emily Blunt deserves an Oscar nomination, though. She was transcendent.
I reviewed MĀRAMA, a staggering horror film so versed in the language of colonial horror -- it evokes everything from Hitchcock's REBECCA to Carter's 'The Bloody Chamber' so deftly you'd think Taratoa Stappard wrote them himself -- it tears right through it. www.patreon.com/scumbelievab...
Caught the film Mãrama today. Splendid New Zealand gothic horror film. Recommend.

This is easily the saddest time in American history. The absolute worst people are systematically destroying the country, and our system is completely failing to stop them.
There's a major civil rights protest taking place in Selma, Alabama, right now in response to the SCOTUS decision that weakened the Voting Rights Act and the ongoing attack on Black Americans’ political power (video: defiancedispatch/IG)
this is a great piece and i'm also somewhat annoyed because it means i have to rework the piece i was writing for next week www.nytimes.com/2026/05/02/o...
Opinion | Ruling by Ruling, the Supreme Court Is Undoing the Civil Rights Movement

The tension between "I'm sex-positive, and I think people should do whatever they want with their bodies," and "Mama, our country is being run by Nazis, we really don't need to see your hole on Bluesky right now, Brandon."
So many people urge us to vote if we are dissatisfied with our democracy. And yes voting matters. But as today’s Supreme Court ruling tells us, it’s not that simple. Not everyone who should have the right to vote can exercise that right.
Popped over to NetGalley to see any new reviews for LOVE LOOKS LIKE LOLA, and someone gave a thumbs down to our absolutely adorable cover? Man, what miserable schmuck is giving a thumbs down to a cute kid hugging her aunt? lol
