Today starts Refugee Week UK, and I thought I’d share my first hand embroidered artwork in a series about immigration. This is ‘Citizenship Requirements’, the 1st page of the UK citizenship app in thread & fabric, emphasising the explicit & implicit demands of being a ‘good’, ‘grateful’ immigrant.

Enjoyed meeting friendly creative people at the Old Fire Station in Oxford for the Winter Open exhibition preview party last week. Check out the artwork on display until 20th Dec. 70+ artists and 130+ artworks, including my ‘Sheldonian’ hand embroidery piece!
