FE:FW discuss! There will definitely be unlikable design choices, but overall I'm really excited to see a different cultural outfit/armor inspiration in Fire Emblem. It just... feels fresh. Or like a refresh. I really like those haven't-appeared-before mount choices. I was hoping for *spoiler* 1/?

Man, Sony deciding to ditch physical disks starting in 2028... guess after that, my collection just won't include Sony stuff :/ Cause I sure ain't buying a PS6 priced at more than 1k, with only digital games that can't play my backlog. How is this all suppose to stay a hobby?
As always, today is a good day to support artists, writers, creators. If you have the means, maybe consider signing up for a Patreon. Buy a book, a game, a painting. Commission a new piece. Tell a creator what they mean to you. Signal boost their work.
Honestly, this is a great expansion because all the maps have existing underwater space. I look forward to the underwater-focus map in future DLC release.

To future-proof my book contract (better safe than sorry), I added an AI clause that says AI tools of any kind cannot be used in the review or preparation of my book (also no genAI art can be used for cover, etc) Very grateful to @slstalter.bsky.social for example from her most recent contract.
John Scalzi@scalzi.com · 5mo agoI see the "writer" whose novel just got tanked for being "AI" is blaming it all on an editor who allegedly rewrote substantial portions of the novel using an LLM. So, a) why would you use an "editor" like that, b) I reread reach my novels a dozen times during the pre-pub process, this excuse is bunk
