Look, at least be honest. If you post a video made with AI, don't claim you created it or modelled it. No. Be honest. You can spot genAI video from a mile away and if you're pedalling it as your own? Pfff. Just wow, really.

Don't think this memory price hike is much of an issue for the *average* gamer. As I've said before, good developers are going to target the hardware people have and can get. Time to properly optimise. Slightly related since we're heavily web: Hey browser / webview vendors, fix your crap please!

Two years ago I released Elite 3D - the #BBCMicro classic, in anaglyph 3D (for red-and-cyan glasses) But I failed to give the project a repository, so here it is, only 22 months late: github.com/markmoxon/el... So you now can see every change I made to Elite to drag it into the third dimension 🚀

Completed my first Steam game, I was never able to hit the release button because I was dumb enough to sign a contract on a verbal agreement. Months passed, I was waiting on this addendum, then one day he looks me in the face and says "I don't remember such agreement" with a grin and walks off.

I do not use GenAI in my games. Instead I created my own GenRI - two kids. They create all sorts of cool stuff without my input, even 6 fingered humanoids. Sounds like they use less energy than GenAI too! Seriously, I am hopeful they're going to have a happy life and enjoy their time here.
