She's such a hack. She confirmed that she is an idealistic idiot. Still trying to pass off her bullshit question 10 as what 750k Albertans wanted. The court case is nonsense. The courts told her EXACTLY what the problem was. Constitutional questions must be consulted on with First Nations.

I also have questions about the sentence before that. Did the USA and other countries ever use Starlink for offensive drone strikes? Why is it only Ukraine misusing the terms of service? That sounds like a flimsy excuse to me. My guess is that whole paragraph will disappear.

There it is. Elon Musk admits it. “That loophole was closed last week.” In a deranged post on X, Musk openly acknowledges that SpaceX recently restricted Ukraine’s ability to use Starlink.

It wasn't a resolution—it was the annual outcome document In the official explanation of its vote, the US objected to: • The specific language used for gender identity. • Terminology regarding reproductive health rights (arguing it could be interpreted as creating an international right to abortion)

She shouldn't have to apologise for doing her job. Ministers in the past have always met with Democrats and Republicans at both state and federal levels from various congresses and senates. That's not interference, and the reporter who asked her about it should be embarrassed.

Mélanie Joly brushes off allegations of interference: "Facts must be straightened in the sense that indeed I met with Democrats in the US, but I met with Republicans, which the American Embassy failed to present."

I appreciate that she called out the media, the reports from the US stated she only met with democrats, which is in fact a lie, she met with people from both parties and the media should be reporting facts, not partial facts.

I don’t at all agree with Erdoğan, but I believe PM Mark Carney is right when he says that there are very few countries that have the high standards of Canada. It would be ideal if we could only deal “at level”, but that is not practical. Maybe Canadian values will help to elevate others over time.

PM Mark Carney defends strengthening ties with countries that don’t share Canada’s views on human rights. “Engagement is not approval,” he tells reporters in Istanbul, Türkiye. “There are very few countries in this world that have the standards of Canada." #cdnpoli
