This makes a site totally unusable for screen reader users. Like, why do web developers find it so hard to focus on accessibility, which should be a core part of any approach way above tackling "poisoning AI". Have some fucking respect for the people who want to/have to use your shit.

I think the bigger question is why I, as a user, should necessarily want to be on a site with an ever expanding userbase. I just want to do my silly little posts and have fun online.

This post just popped up on my Facebook from a page with tens of thousands of followers. Behind the black box are the names of 10 children the OP is alleging to be trans. The post also include photos of all 10 children, and the name of the schools they attend. They’re now doxxing minors.

The fact that many men won’t engage in activities or hobbies unless those things also ritualistically differentiate them from women is a problem of patriarchy. One that men need to figure out how to divest from. Pandering to their discomfort in that tension only reinforces it.

Honestly one of the key markers for me about whether cis people really believe the pro-trans things they say is whether they're willing to say disproportionate harm is still wrong when it happens to trans people who might have pissed them off a bit.
