20 years ago practically no one wore helmets skiing and snowboarding. Now everyone does. Why? Because they reduce the chance of head injuries. If we get kids and teens wearing a helmet from a young age it becomes a moot point because they’ll prob wear one as an adult. 1/3

Should helmets be required by law? Definitely not. Should you, considering only your own welfare, wear a helmet? It's often a good idea.
The footage of this flash flood, circulating on social media, is possibly the most horrifying I've seen of any climate impact. Great to see NPR highlighting the cause without any hedging.
