"Born in magic, the ancient city of Amdapor lived in splendor and died in agony." #ffxiv Khona'to's notes as he aided in the efforts to clear and clean the Lost City of Amdapor in the South Shroud 🌿✨

Different colored snippets of the Lost City of Amdapor (written in Eorzean above the gate on the top left). The iconic Amdapori curved arches are studied in a stone gate, the metal door of the gate, and a tower that leads further inside the city. There is a row of columns with circular patterns that are tilted and falling apart with text reading "It feels rare to see this type of motif." Seed Seers Raya-O and A-ruhn both use their staves to conjure white magic to clear away the fungal debris. Above is a panel of a male Miqo'te wearing a gas mask of sorts, looking forward in determination. Text reads, "Our masks and garments are enchanted before we enter the Lost City to ensure the spores are not inhaled or grown over flesh. Upon exiting we must quarantine until a conjurer cleanses us. I grew tired of the wait so I learned the spell. Frankly, the others should too if capable. Raya-O and A-ruhn sweep around a full malm radius at a time when their schedules allow it." The floor leading to the inner sanctum has a circular pattern with floral ornamentation. Text reads, "Circular stone platforms leadign to the inner preserved sanctum. Preserved by stasis and golems I assume." The railing there is lit by a lantern lit by white light. Text reads, "Mhachi flames don't ring nearly as loud as white light. It took a while for me to tune it out the first time. Other Miqo'te struggled similarly." Next to it is a wall archway with a golem that looks like a gargoyle voidsent demon. Text reads, "Same golem design as Amdapor Keep." Lastly on the bottom right is a far away view of a bridge that has long been decimated.

WIP I’ve been wanting to study Amdapor’s architecture and got a whole page going 🥰 coloring it too. I’m having a lot of fun!!! I don’t hate making the line art!!! Surprisingly also not worried about accurate symmetry either, mostly treating it like a journal except for one round design hehe
