I'm sympathetic to the many reasons why this #lfc squad lacks chemistry this year but the fact that we can't figure out a way to get our 2 top offensive signings meaningful touches is baffling. And that falls on the manager.

Sounds like Trump has committed the U.S. military to securing the Strait of Hormuz for an indefinite amount of time, where we weren’t deployed before the war, and despite his complaints that the U.S. doesn’t need the strait and it only serves other countries and they should take care of the problem

The No Kings Protests Are Cause for Hope

It's easy to dismiss the No Kings protests as performative, and honestly, they are. That's the point. Democracy is performative by design. The alternative to showing up in the streets isn't some purer, more effective form of resistance ... it's staying home. And staying home is exactly what an administration comfortable governing by fiat is counting on. We need to win, and win bigly, if we want any real shot at fixing the deeper rot. That starts with people showing up, making connections, and realizing how big this movement could be.

I really enjoyed this article - I found myself nodding along throughout. I'm not an AI skeptic, but I do worry about what the next decade looks like for my career, and even more so for the people coming up behind me. We're drifting toward a future where the only engineers truly qualified to review AI generated code are the seniors who earned that judgment by writing bad code themselves — before AI existed to do it for them.
