In my annual Fan Cultures seminar, the final assignment is a case study. Students’ recent topics ranged across media, language, and culture, including fandoms for Honkai Impact 3rd, Taskmaster, Cluely, LCK, Bato, Lypsinka, and American Girl. Wonderful reading—and mutual learning. #FanStudies
