Your pal @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social at the West Indian Day Parade in Brooklyn. Genuinely hard to take a bad picture of this dude. That's the @nywfp.bsky.social float behind him - follow them and let's make this man mayor and get him the progressive caucus he needs to get things done, NYC!

Writers! I’ll critique a query letter and first page for 5 people in exchange for a donation to a food bank, local restaurant with a free-meal program, program collecting funds for people in need of food, etc. If you need food, or know someone who does, DM me or comment below. ❤️❤️❤️

Every client's book release is an exuberant special occasion to me! This one is also deeply personal. 💕 INTO THE DEEP BLUE was the second book my lovely boss ever let me sign to our brand-new shared list. I was head-over-heels in love with it, and I can remember the day so clearly. (1/)

She wears a navy floral dress and holds a copy of the book “Into the Deep Blue,” standing in front of green trees. End alt text.Daniele's husband Quincy's Brown hand is seen holding "Into The Deep Blue." The cover is navy, featuring scrolling vines and coral around the title in shades of blue, purple, and pink. It also features items including seashells, anchors, floers, and a bird. End alt text.

My "mundane superpower" has always been reading quickly (which I know is a privilege in my profession). This year, though, I’ve been juggling an intense workload, ever-fun Health Stuff, & wading back from burnout. So it’s been a struggle to stay on top of my reading at all, let alone quickly. (1/)

Daniele is a short, fat white woman with curly auburn hair and glasses, wearing a bright-yellow dress and a floral headband. She grins exuberantly, at the edge of the ocean, against a beautiful blue sky with puffy white clouds. End alt text.Daniele holds up her pale arm in front of the ocean. On the inside of her wrist, parts of her tattoos are visible, including the words "slow dance" and "so lucky," which are each written in different cursive fonts. End alt text. The light-teal ocean at low tide, featuring a grey-and-white seagull and moss-covered rocks. The sky is light-blue, scattered with puffy white-and-lavender clouds. End alt text.
