Every FanDuel commercial is a mini horror film. Do people really watch them and think--hey, that's for me!

Update #3 Within hours, campus housing, local police, and the local post master worked together to track down who stole the package. They were able to recover most of the items. It was stolen by another student in the complex. Everything was on viceo. Not sure they realized it was a federal offense.

Update: There is a security camera where the package was stolen from. And a student ID Is needed to access the space. Campus Housing, local police, and local Post Master are on it! Never seen so much coordination for a missing package in my life!

I decorated one package that happened to be the first care package I sent my oldest to college. This is my life now.

I know all of Bluesky has been waiting with bated breath for the DNA results for this good girl. The shelter told us she was an Aussie Shepherd mix 😒 The verdict: American Bully + Great Pyrenees + Supermutt, in that order.

There’s a phase that happens senior year called “spoiling the nest” that makes it a little easier to see them off to college. But I sure am going to miss writing with live cello music floating up from the basement.

I watched 9 to 5 with my 17yo son and my mom the other week. I thought I had seen it before, but I definitely had not. That movie is wild! We all enjoyed it.

Scenes from my walk last night.

Have entered the life stage where my mom randomly leaves us packets of saltine crackers from Panera.

The fun thing about going to a competition crossfit gym is that everyone in my class's PR reports are like, "I front-squatted 250lbs today!" and I'm like, "I got off the couch without having to use my hands! I just stood right up! It was amazing!" 🥲

The weird thing about crossfit is that the most convenient way to carry things like 50# bags of cat litter or a bundle of firewood is to clean it up and carry it on my shoulders.
