Some colorful abstract art to brighten your day. This one was fun for me to create and the colors feel so joyful. #art

Spent the evening watching Masterpiece on PBS. I got really into Marble Hall Murders, so I decided to go back and start with Magpie Murders on the PBS app.
Finished the 900 page Sherlock Holmes anthology in 2 months 😅 Now for the 2nd volume, which is only 600 pages.
The new Garage Sale Mystery was so good. I will definitely be watching again.
Looking for my cousin every time I see a commercial for Survivor. 👀

Every time I think things can’t get more ridiculous, I am proven wrong
I have so much that I need to get done today, and I’m sitting here zoning out with Morning Show Mysteries on in the background.
The Sherlock Holmes anthology that I’m reading is from 1986. The ad on the back page to order more titles has books for $1.95 to $2.50. 😭
Here are the three crochet projects that I am currently working on. I am about halfway done making the granny squares for my Halloween blanket. That project is going really fast, and I’m getting a good amount of granny squares out of these skeins of yarn. The waistcoat stitch scarf is slow going.
I particularly liked the Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton.
Getting ready for fall means putting out all my handmade decorations, including the crochet pumpkins I have made. Pattern for this pumpkin was created by Emme Rylan.
A new abstract piece that I made last week. I have been experimenting with new ways to create. #abstractart
Wait a minute. Why have I never watched the Marlow Murder Club?
Pittsburgh will always be a union town. Wishing everyone a happy and safe Labor Day!
Happy Labor Day! ✊ Today, we’re taking the time to celebrate the workers who keep our communities and commonwealth moving forward every day. No matter how you’re spending the holiday, we hope you get a well-deserved break!
A little look at the blanket I am making, as well as a closeup of my favorite crochet hook
I have somehow managed to make it this long in my life without watching All About Eve. And it’s not because I don’t want to. It’s never on TCM when I can watch and it’s hard to find.
I really should put my phone in another room for awhile. I need less doomscrolling and more crocheting right now.
The PA Universal Healthcare Act would ensure that all Pennsylvanians and residents of other states who work at least 20 hours per week within our Commonwealth can get comprehensive, high-quality healthcare. My full memo here: www.palegis.us/senate/co-sp...
It is unacceptable for a world-class city like ours to allow its major natural history museum to close. We cannot allow it. My statement ⬇️
Sorry not sorry. But it is obnoxious to sell an electric shaver that comes with a cord but no adapter. Then you are directed to the manufacturer website to purchase the adapter separately. Ridiculous.
PA college students: you can register to vote at your college address OR at your home address. You CAN'T vote in PA on November 3 if you don't register by October 19. Find the info & links you need at vote.pa.gov/College #NationalVoterRegistrationMonth #collegelife #vote #pennsylvania #election
Another abstract piece that I created last month and forgot to share (even though I loved it so much). These colors 🥰 #art
Fetterman and McCormick both support Trump’s “let data reign” on data centers yet in actual Pennsylvania, parents are fighting a data center that would increase noise across from a school by 8x, penetrating its walls with sound. No help from either senator. www.thecentersquare.com/pennsylvania...
