npm is rotating write-scoped npm Granular Access Tokens that bypass 2FA as a precaution following a now-contained security incident. This doesn't affect GitHub personal access tokens. Maintainers should upgrade the npm CLI to v12+ and consider Trusted Publishing. docs.npmjs.com/trusted-publ...

this is the time of year when I rediscover that I am basically a raven. (installing software I know isn't ready, because it's shiny)
iOS 27 Beta 5 is coming this week. Expect a new beta every week until Apple releases iOS 27 in September.
working on something that's making me think that _sometimes_ we need MORE hype 🔥
playing around with something because... why not? 🤷

I think the answer is: yes, to the extent you _can_ finding space to boycott or choose based on values is a luxury we should aspire to indulge. ... but without guilt if you can't, as: 1️⃣ life is complex 2️⃣ we have limited spoons 3️⃣ the 'fault' you're boycotting isn't yours roe.dev/ama #ama
thank you for sharing ❤️ I hadn't! - but I listened to it this morning when you sent this ... 🪿🪿🪿 roe.dev/ama #ama
synchub currently doesn't handle lfs objects, only the pointers the main tricky thing is the bandwidth this would entail (and the fact that I likely couldn't just stream it ....) but you're right, this is a pain. I'll go ahead and warn on the dashboard.... roe.dev/ama #ama
go NORTH! I see lots of wonderful people building things here. but even if not, and it's not that hard to travel to london (or elsewhere!) to meet with folk ... ... and yes, it's a chicken-and-egg situation that remote working helps solve. roe.dev/ama #ama
love, even if brief love, even if unbounded by time I do not believe that preciousness comes solely from limitation fill the beach with glorious gems and they each still shine beautifully roe.dev/ama #ama
as someone who builds tools, nothing else is more powerful for enabling you to reach your objectives we talk a lot about the tools and not enough about the objectives
I just bought my ticket to @zurichjs.com! I've heard so much about the community in Zurich, and a lot of awesome folks are going to be there! FYI, there's 3 more hours on the current price - and they're a steal even at full-price.
We’d love to invite everyone. 💛 But community conferences still have bills to pay, and we’re doing our best to keep tickets as affordable as possible. Standard pricing ends in a few days. Grab your ticket before Late Bird pricing starts: conf.zurichjs.com
Okay so now that we shipped stacked PRs, what's the next biggest request you have for GitHub to take on?
ANTHROPIC: Our son loves humanity and for the low price of trillions and trillions of dollars will usher in an era of unprecedented peace and prosperity! OPENAI: Our horrible oafish son is hacking web sites without our permission. ANTHROPIC: (eyes narrowing) Our son is also evil
`oxc-walker` v1.1.1 is out. nice work, everyone! 🔥 thanks @harlanzw.com for opening the PR to remove the last dependency - I won't hold it against you that it was a package I wrote. 😭 ... plus some very nice runtime performance improvements from @matejcerny.dev 🔥
honestly, @rich-harris.dev you didn't have to ask via ama, I would have told you. one of the key things is using a performant ui library, of course. roe.dev/ama #ama
