This has to be the most cyberpunk thing I've seen in a while, ripped from an @bruces.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gy novel, and i just came from a conference where i heard a serious person talking seriously about lunar data centers, a core premise of Software by Rudy Rucker, the first book in the genre.
Finished another Open Source Summit, and Minneapolis seems like a great city. Got to bring a great group of students and recent grads! I didn't get to make it around much, so I'll need to come back to explore the city with my family.

One of the amazing things about technology conferences is how incredibly global they are. Computers, despite the many challenges they create, are a great connector. I love that about computers, and it's probably why I've stuck with them despite the (frequent) frustrations.
