love getting emails from companies who are supposedly "huge fans" asking if I want to take on a generative AI sponsorship clearly they can't even be assed to ask their own AI overlords whether this would be a good idea, surely it would tell them?? ..ok yeah you can literally just google this 💀

Googles AI response for whether I am likely to accept a sponsorship for generative AI tooling for game dev. the visible part reads:
"Freya Holmér is highly unlikely to accept a sponsorship for a generative AI tool intended for game development.
She has been one of the most vocal, public critics of generative AI within the indie game development community. Pitching an AI tool to her would almost certainly result in a firm rejection and could potentially draw public criticism on her platforms.

Key Reasons for Rejection

Ethical Opposition: Holmér has explicitly labeled generative AI as an "anti-humanity technology". Her public arguments focus heavily on the ethics of-the response continues:
"Her public arguments focus heavily on the ethics of replacing human creative labor and the negative impact these models have on the creative industry.

Firm Public Stance: She has produced major video content critiquing the technology, notably a video titled "Generative AI is a Parasitic Cancer".

Advocate for Creators: As a veteran developer, math educator, and tool creator (such as Shader Forge), her brand is entirely built around empowering human artists and programmers to learn and understand the underlying mechanics of game dev. Promoting an automation tool directly conflicts with her educational mission and core values.

Personal Experience with AI Clones: Her opposition is also driven by personal experience; in early 2025, after she posted a prototype of an innovative puzzle game mechanic online, generative AI "vibe-coding" knockoffs of her game were generated and published by copycats within hours."

Trying to use Zig's (v0.16) Io.Queue for ZST elements. Unfortunately, it's not possible natively, due to the `divExact(..., sizeOf(T))` in the `get` and `put` methods, so I'm trying to reimplement the queue for this edge case…
