CommCon 2026 is a wrap, and we took a few firsts with us to Düsseldorf. First time in continental Europe, first time streaming live with MOQ. Marco learned it, built with it, and streamed the whole thing. Educational and painful. Worth it. nimblea.pe/blog/live-st...

I haven’t bought something recently purely with the intention of tinkering - there’s always been another reason. I just bought myself a car thing from the US. I know it’s defunct, no longer usable etc… unless you go and load open source firmware on it! Time to tinker

You are not an iOS or Android customer. Facebook and TikTok are. Apple and Google conspire with Facebook and others to trick you to track you. When you can, use a web browser rather than an app, and make sure it's *your* browser not the fake one Apple and Google provide to Facebook to deceive you.

I want you, a tech-literate person, to internalize one deep fact: Apple vs. Facebook is, and always was, kayfabe. In reality, Apple is (and always was) Facebook's chauffeur; holding its coat while it surveilled everyone. How to be sure? IABs: open-web-advocacy.org/blog/in-app-brow…
