Tim Curry was one of the first actors to impress me with their versatility, mainly because he played Wadsworth in Clue and Darkness in Legend, both in the same year, and I watched the hell out of both those movies as a kid. RIP.

Just watching Logan Lucky on Sky. There’s a scene in which a group of rioting prisoners demand that The Winds Of Winter be added to the prison library, only to be told that George R.R. Martin hadn’t finished writing it. He still hasn’t. Logan Lucky came out in 2017.
Very much agree with this - I saw The Mad King earlier this week, and was blown away. Astonishing stagecraft, and a great way to tell the prequel story we’ve waited years to see.

Since childhood, I’ve always wanted to see a big, proper movie version of The Odyssey (I’d even have taken a sequel to Troy starring Sean Bean). Today, my favourite filmmaker finally delivered that, making it so much more thoughtful, interesting and devastating than the best version I’d imagined.
Today Clan Jolin is going out on its first full family trip in well over a year. And it’s to see The Odyssey.
