Huh. Important question. I've got nothing--even the point-and-click DS9 adventure game was pretty sexless. We deserve a Star Trek as horny as BG3.
So, have they released a horny Star Trek game yet or not?

Oh is the reason I want Hawks and Runa to smooch so bad because Runa is voiced by Vic Michaelis? That might explain some stuff. Also, Rekha is in this!
Zero Company is great because I can play my space guitar.
Currently feeling like I'm missing out on ... the Minnesota State Fair. I was born in New England! Why do I miss Minnesota so much?
I'm making Imperial Assault characters in the Star Wars Zero Company character databank creator, because why not?
In D&D tonight, we all got dragonmarks and are apparently bonding dragons to become the Secret Bosses of the World. This is important for Reasons. But it turns out that dragons are from another world! Big philosophical problem for my anti-outsider Warlock.
I appreciate that Dolly Parton refused to participate in "dress respectability" and, by her own account, modeled her aesthetic after a town "tramp," who she thought was beautiful. She separated aesthetics from character and understood "classiness" to be about how you treat people, not how you dress.
With the passing of Dolly Parton and Tim Curry, we've lost two of our best our human Muppets (complimentary).
When you have a vessel, or craft, or barque, where every one of the frames, or futtocks, or structural members, and the planking, or strakes, or skin, and the spars, or yards, or booms, is replaced, it’s known as the ‘Ship of Thesaurus’
“Georgia, please get to safety.” Something in the calm way that Jenny was talking, even with her voice amplified by her robot, settled in George’s gut. It was a paradox, but Jenny had the deadly calm of a professional in a crisis, and that was somehow scarier than noisy panic.

Watching Creature Commandos and my immediate takeaways are a) the needle drops are amazing and 2) this is doing nothing to reduce the intensity of my crush on Indira Varma.

Optimist: the cup is half empty Pessimist: the cup is half full Editor: I think possibly the writer transposed those lines; are they meant to be spoken by different characters?
Optimist: the cup is half full Pessimist: the cup is half empty Writer: Those archetypes lead to some generic lines! Let's give these characters names and some backstory! What made--we'll call her Ella--what made Ella so pessimistic? Is there a childhood trauma or thwarted dream? Does it manifest

Not every mech in Precipice will have arms, but if you ever spend time thinking about big metal robot hands (or mounted particle cannons), this is the post for you. Plus sneak peaks of @javiroque.bsky.social's archtypes and a sculpt for the M-Trak's ancestor! www.wildplumgames.com/blog-updates...
Mechanics Update: Arms Race — Wild Plum Games
Arms can be an important aspect of mech design. Through its arms, a mech interacts with the world. And so the choice of what to put on those arms signals a great deal about the mech’s history, purpose...

Everyone shut up, it's time to watch X-Men Season 2! ... or I would, but my watch buddy is having to jump through so many goddamn hoops to get a D+ account. Shouldn't this part of the process be frictionless?
I guess there's some discourse around teaching the Bible in schools? It's true that the Bible is the most important, most-cited work in the English canon. I studied it in AP English and, based on what I learned from that, in a Bible as Literature class in college. I learned a lot.
Thinking about editing, and how my job is, basically, to have opinions at people. Opinions that they actually listen to! My lovely wife, an actual factual doctor, pointed out: "That's what I do." I tried to insist it was different. She just smiled at me.

Arbelos Chapter 1: The Drop — Wild Plum Games
“This story began with a question that nobody wanted to answer. ‘ Are we at war in Varall?’ When my old friends in the brass got evasive, I sharpened my inquiries to ‘Who are we fighting?’ and ‘If...

I really enjoyed watching Games Night play out Federation versus Klingons in Star Trek: Into the Unknown. This is exactly the sort of evocative gameplay that Michael Gernes and I set out to enable when designing STIU, and it's so gratifying to see it in action! www.youtube.com/watch?v=AusM...

There are 3 versions of everything you write. There’s the one in your head, the one you get on the page, and the one the audience receives. The first does not exist, and the third is none of your business.
I'm fine; Stardew Valley years are only about 1/4 as long.
You're offered $250,000,000 but to claim it you must enter the last video game you've played and stay there for a full year. How are y'all faring in this deal?
