The next part of my story set in my mecha setting, Swarmworld Arcturus, is up to read! This is very exciting to see out in the universe and I hope you dig it. Robots. Animals. Robot animals.

@pikorito.bsky.social's latest Swarmworld Arcturus chapter jars Maris between gentle reminiscince and a desperate battle for survival in her new mechafauna. To save a new friend, Maris must fight an old one. www.wildplumgames.com/fiction/swarmworld-arcturus-2-gilfaethwy

All packed and ready for Gen Con! Spent a lot of this weekend prepping our "State of Games in the Cosmere" presentation, printing out character sheets for RPG demos, and punching out tokens! So many tokens.

Photo of printed paper tokens in reusable plastic coin holders, our usual method for con demos of unreleased adventures. In the background, pages and pages of punched out circles give a silent testament to the hours that Johnny spent making these little tokens.

The first (annual?) Wild Plum Game(s) Jam went really well! It was a really nice creative refresher. We made Save Scum Superstar (which really ended up more as "Roguelite with One Retry"). I'll give a full rundown in this week's dev update! In the meantime, enjoy more Horrible Max Art.

Swarmworld Arcturus is a very different setting from Arbelos. Where Arbelos is retro, Swarmworld Arcturus is futuristic. Where M-Traks are bulky and difficult to drive, mechafauna (fauns) are lithe and almost eerily intuitive to control. Also, fauns are quite a bit more massive than traks.

Giant robots from Precipice

Today's a very exciting day for Precipice fiction. You can read Chapters 1-5 of the Arbelos stories now! I'm also incredibly excited to present Chapter 1 of @pikorito.bsky.social's Swarmworld Arcturus! Join Maris as she explores past the safe bounds of her village and into the unknown. (Links ↓)
