My husband and I had a great time seeing The Sound of Music with my sister and niece yesterday. A wonderful production all around!

I solved today’s Letter Boxed in 4/6 words. I believe I should be awarded a medal of some kind. Calling FIFA shortly
I’m using a new news source called “Ground News”. It’s wonderful and gives an analysis of the reliability and source of each topic. See below for an example
Does anyone still interact with their stupid, racistX homophobic, misogynistic MAGA-trash friends and relatives and if yes, why?
It’s a parent’s right to not vaccinate their kids. And it’s my right to tell them they are fucking terrible parents and terrible citizens That is all

Reminder... Any political party trying to make it harder to vote is sending a clear message — they can't win on their ideas alone.
I'm never going to get over the fact that the president of the United States paid a woman more than $5 million after a jury found him liable for raping her. And he's still president. And people still support him. Never. Get. Over. It.
The daylight savings bill may sound good, but we tried it when I was a kid and it failed spectacularly
Its funny how everyone's idea of heaven is a complete untouched paradise, crystal clear waters, lush green forests, enough food for everyone, classless, moneyless, stateless, a Utopia of peace, unity and happiness. But here on earth it's considered a leftist ideology.
I have no faith John Cronyn will vote against Blanche. He’s still an asshole and cares nothing about the corruption and incompetence of the DOJ
If we took the wayback machine to before 2016, I didn’t agree with Lindsey Graham, but I respected him. His transformation into a Wormtail-like Trump sycophant, driven by the pursuit of power over principle, is one of the most disturbing political transformations in modern U.S. history.
hearing lindsey graham got his head stuck in a honey jar and as he was struggling to pull it off he stepped on a roller skate and slid across the room where he fell out a third story window and into a hippopotamus pit
One thing that has surprised me more than anything is how amazingly ignorant and gullible the American people are.
RIP Lindsey Graham. You taught me it was okay to be a coward whose only skill is debasing myself until death for a tiny, ultimately illusionary crumb of power.
I do support age limits. Given we are overall healthier longer, what should be the top age (at time of election) for senators, representatives, and presidents? Curious what people think 🤔
Starting a new instrument (classical guitar) in my 60’s has opened doors I never imagined. My lifelong anxiety has diminished somewhat My concentration has improved My appreciation and understanding of music, especially classical has increased markedly And I’m still a beginner 😊
The answer is, “Because you’re racist.” What’s the question?
What I’d love to see in a candidate’s platform: 👉🏼Universal Healthcare 👉🏼Wealth Tax of 20-40% 👉🏼Tax big corporations 👉🏼immigration policy that addresses labor needs 👉🏼constitutional amendments to abolish dark money in politics 👉🏼term limits on all government positions 👉🏼 Antitrust laws enforced
Interesting wording: everyone I’ve seen who claims to have had contact with Mitch McConnell says they “spoke to” him, not that they “spoke with” him. It may mean nothing. Or it may reflect careful wording that lets people imply contact without claiming there was an actual two-way conversation.
Enjoying our time at our family cabin is my favorite part of summer
I read this morning in the @nytimes.com U.S. Reaches Deal With Iran to Halt Attacks, Official Says This is the 7th in a group of similar posts. I’m beginning to think the Trump admin may not be the sharpest bunch
I’m so exhausted by the endless hyperbole used by media, both legacy and newer news content creators. Democratic socialists don’t hate establishment democrats. They have policy ideas that resonate with voters. Government has not worked for average Americans. People just want a fair system
I have a cousin who is full on maga. I don’t speak to him but I do see his stories on instagram. His posts are racist as always, but they have lost any edge and are just sad memes. He’s becoming more pathetic each day. Cults ruin people
As an “elder gay” I have had issues with the community adopting the term “queer” as a moniker. In my experience it was always used like a cudgel to deride and demean. I’m coming around slowly and have stopped wincing when I hear it used. Progress for an old queer guy 😊
🧵years ago I started working for a public school system as a speech therapist. At the beginning of the year all district meeting, the keynote speaker was the owner of a successful ice cream company in the Midwest. He retold the story of when he was elected to a local school board,
Can we finally all agree that the argument “we should run the country like a business, and therefore elect businessmen to run it” has been a failed experiment?
