Look and learn! From the Draw! Magazine archives a great Thor pager by Romita JR inked by Klaus Janson along with his description. JRJR is one of my fave pencilers and Klaus is one of the major influences on me as an artist. I started noticing his amazing inks as a teen.
The Odyssey by N.C. Wyeth (1929) hard to find good quality photos/scans of these but I like this looser, more impressionist Wyeth
