For no particular reason this morning I am thinking of this example of the president-elect’s imbecility
I might have been okay with a pardon that covered any offense Hunter Biden hasn’t already been convicted of or plead to. But we’ve already spent too much time talking about this pardon. It’s hardly important given the torrent of abuses we are about to see from the incoming administration.

Joumanna Bercetche@joumanna.bsky.social · 2y agoRemarkable what is happening in Syria - Opposition rebels HTS (Hayat Tahreer Sham) now saying they have taken over Aleppo airport - Russian& Iranian FMs express concern over the rising hostilities - Assad forces on the retreat (less than 50% of Syria is under Assad control)
This would be a good time for the US & UK to confiscate Russian Central Bank reserves in their countries. Other countries with such reserves should publicize how much they have. Make all Russian private financial assets public!
