we are lucky that self publishing is encouraged rather than stigmatized in comics. not the case for pretty much every other literary endeavor

there’s this narrative that young people are addicted to their phones but i’ve observed that they generally have way better boundaries with technology than older generations who didn’t grow up with smartphones
currently teaching at a two week long pre-college program where students aren’t allowed to even bring phones/ devices. we’re a week in and they are all thriving.
There's a couple things I want y'all to do when you see allegations on the internet provided from one perspective: 1) Were good faith opportunities taken advantage of before going public? 2) What is there to gain from going public?
