Ugh, I just watched a Musk interview and what he's saying about a zero-cost society is kind of spot on. After feasting off Drexler and similar futurist authors for decades I do believe technology will bring us there. I fear Musk and other billionaires tainting those ideas by just talking about it.

I'm late on my quarterly ERP rant, so here it is... For the love of god someone please disrupt the *whole* ERP industry. It's ripe for change. Don't make me spend the next few years of my life tackling this problem, it doesn't look fun :p

Heading back to Toronto from spending a weekend in #Halifax (Nova Scotia) at a tournament. Makes you realise how amazing other parts of Canada are. The food, the people, the weather. Thanks for a beautiful weekend. I’ll be back soon! I’ve neglected the Maritimes.

I don’t think I’ve ever been more disappointed with Americans. It’s turning into a much deeper harder feeling to shake. We’re suffering from wildfires and they’re turning to politics. When the US was down on its luck with California fires and 9/11 we helped. We are down and they’re kicking us.

About once a year I rant about the state of ERP platforms. I'm due for one so here it is. The ERP industry has to be the most deficient niche I've seen in the software industry. Every project seems to be death by a thousand cuts due to legacy/deficient software and horribly archaic process.
