I downloaded @ericidle.bsky.social's audiobook the day the book was released as I planned on picking up the physical edition on Eric's tour. Buy the book, but also spring for the audio edition. It's read by the author, and it's a "virtual" page turner!

Bored one day, and on a whim, I wrote to Colonel Tom Parker. He sent me his autograph on an Elvis card. I tucked it away in an Elvis cassette, but it seems to have disappeared.
I don’t believe I’ve listened in half a century. I cannot judge but give me a golden apple and three Greek bints and I’m shit hot.

Woke up needing to write about the difference between the intelligence of wholeness vs. the intelligence of the ego. And sseing that ego (sense of separate self) developed my very ability to be able to contemplate all of this & how my whole life has been about how to allow the two to co-create.
