I just read a BBC article so poisonous about trans people that I had to stop, and I have a very thick skin.
"Bucking a push for young leadership---" no NPR. People don't want younger leaders. They want more progressive or at the very least more honest leaders
For me, the biggest takeaway from Sophie Cunningham’s hard launch into the right-wing culture wars is how *lucrative* bigotry is now. There’s an entire conservative media ecosystem that will turn anyone willing to make transphobia their personal brand into a well-compensated star.

I am really worried that people's hatred of AI is going to lead to underestimating what it can and can't do. With the HuggingFace thing I've seen people say "we're ascribing agency and personhood to dumb robots chatting back and forth which is what they were asked to do in the first place"...
It is kind of fun how much of sewing can be about solving the puzzle that is your own body, but also I am getting pretty close to the "nothing fits bc I'm ugly" third rail
I have yet again been thinking of "remastering" Bottoms Up, which would include adding some deleted scenes (lol) and making all the image sizes consistent
Alternate take … Seattle’s mainstream media is conservative and duped this vulnerable couple into thinking their recall petition was legitimate and then hyped the story even though it was clearly frivolous. This story should have gotten the same level of press coverage as a goodspaceguy candidacy.
