Wow. I'm curious if the FO leaks the deal they had on the table. It would potentially poison the relationship, but would also set the floor for any team that would be considering signing him in as a FA.

I'm impressed by how Vladdy handled everything this morning. He's drawn a clear line on his number, which he says the #BlueJays were not close to, but multiple times he made it clear that he wants to keep distractions away from his team and that he wants to be in Toronto.

your eyes ask to lift my chin as they trace above my lip's indention I whisper philtrum with questioned end you sigh in reply my cupid's bow was your intention a vermillion border of limitation answered with flick of my tongue around fingers of your words to clarify the want is not for conversation

Remember when the Raptors had a Huskies uniform and awesome blue warm up suits? Remember when I had a job that I could stand on the court under the basket during the warm ups before the game and snap a picture like this? Man, I miss that job sometimes.

Jarret Jack, PG for the Toronto Raptors during the 2009-2010 NBA season, is standing at the free throw line during the warm ups before a game against New Jersey Nets. Demar DeRozan, SG for the Toronto Raptors, can be seen walking behind Jack. Andrea Bargnani, PF for the Toronto Raptors, can be seen at the edge of the frame on the left. The Toronto Raptors players are wearing blue warm up suits to honour the Toronto Huskies, the name of the first professional BAA basketball club in Toronto. The photo itself is a screenshot from a Facebook memory post from David Han's profile taken from Dec. 18, 2009.

I'm super proud of the final project that my visual studies students created this year. IG: @theprogressum is an online social media performance culminating in an interactive media installation that took the form of a summoning ritual.

For the past 4 weeks, my students have been performing on social media as a tech cult known as The Progressum. This was all in the lead up to an interactive installation presented today, where their god was being summoned by encouraging visitors to sit and browse their phones while they charge them.

Just found this image and it seems like a succinct way to think about how to write alt text for images. Also, writing the alt text for an image about writing alt text is a very meta-activity which I quite enjoyed.

An image that provides recommendations for how to write alt text with the title centred at the top written as: "Writing Alt Text". Below the title, there are words that are in coloured bubbles. They say "Identify Who" on a light green, "Expression"on a pink background, "Description" on a teal background, "Colour" on a yellow background, and "Interesting Features" on an orange background. Below, there is a photo of a capybara in water with a yellow fruit on its head and next to the photo is text in coloured bubbles that correspond to the coloured bubbles above. The text reads "A capybara" (on a light green background), "looking relaxed" (on a pink background), "in a hot spa." (on a teal background), "Yellow yuzu fruits" (on a yellow background), "are floating in the water," (on a teal background), "and one is balanced on the top of the capybara's head." (on an orange background). The image has a citation written at the bottom as "Source: veroniiiica.com" and along the bottom is the word "puzzle" written in all capital letters with the two Zs intertwined in the middle.

Back at the dissertation grindstone, I re-read this quote today: "The poet, who speaks in the name of a creative power, capable of overturning all orders and representations in order to affirm difference in the state of permanent revolution which characterizes eternal return; and that... 1/2
