Peter Capaldi and David Bradley were absolutely delightful to meet today at Comic Con Midlands. Another two Doctors ticked off my list (3 to go!) #doctorwho

TRILOGY OF TERROR (1975) TV horror anthology based on stories by Richard Matheson and directed by Dan 'Dark Shadows' Curtis. Karen Black stars in all three stories, and the one about the possessed fetish doll is the absolute standout. I'm not ashamed to say it scared the living stink out of me.
We officially enter the second Wilderness Years. I'm sad, but New Who had a good run (almost as long as the original run). I hope time will look more favourably on the Gatwa Era. But, as a wise man once said, 'How can we miss you if you never go away?' #doctorwho

Brilliant day spent Rolling in the Ruins with the @breakfastruins.bsky.social gang yesterday. We saved dystopian 1980's Bradford and then became rulers of Melnibone (to balance things out a bit). #ttrpg #rpg #michaelmoorcock
What a fabulous day of Moorcockian dice rolling and storytelling at #RollingintheRuins2026 Great GMs, great players, good booze and pies. Magic.
Not just the largest UK Games Expo ever, but the largest attended event in the history of the Birmingham NEC. Always the highlight of my year. #boardgames #tabletopgames #ukge #UKGamesExpo
You have the right as a human being to make art. That includes art that is not perfect. That includes art that is not good.
We live in capitalism. Its power seems inescapable. So did the divine right of kings. Any human power can be resisted and changed by human beings. Resistance and change often begin in art, and very often in our art, the art of words.
An interesting warning for writers: There have been ads, making their rounds on social media, advertising writing contests with large prizes. Beware-- some of these contests are tricks to get you to submit files that will then be used to train AI models (LLMs). READ THE FINE PRINT!
