AHAHAHAHAHA who has ever met an author who would SHUT UP about writing That said I am guessing the complainers are not seeking "How do I write" -- of which there are REAMS of advice -- but "How do I get published" And are not satisfied with the answers received

Seeing complaints online that authors 'gatekeep' information…! Absolute nonsense. There is no industry or craft in the world which is so comprehensively written about, studied, and discussed as fiction writing, and every author I know welcomes new writers who are serious about giving it a go.

PseudoPod thought for the day: Human brains run on food. We could run electronic devices on food. It’s just that they’d have to poop, and we’d have to figure out what to do with all the electronic device poop.

Huge News! My Story, 9 Steps to Dissecting a Ghost, is now out at Pseudopod. This is definitely a dream market for me and even more so to have my story read by the award winning author @premeemohamed.com. This is one of my favourite and most deeply emotional stories to date. I hope you enjoy.

PseudoPod 1039: The Song of the Living

When the trees start to smell sharp and crisp, I know The Dead Things are coming. That warning scent perfumes the air now. The fading summer gale bellows over a field of rolling wheat.
