American scriptwriters, replace actual drama in your TV shows with constant unremitting bleakness to really make viewing them feel like hour after hour of sadmin. No one could ever get sick of that.
Guy at a services plucking up the courage to grab a bongo mag from the top shelf in the shop as we watched, few false starts but when he did it got caught on the plastic shield at the front and collapsed it, whole shelf’s worth of grot came down leaving him in a sea of filth. I nearly passed out.
Huge respect for you Grace but the cricket ep of Bluey is the single best explainer as to a) why sport is important, but also b) why we’re all here on social media to talk and write about it, and still love it. Never read a piece that understood sport so perfectly, I cried joyful tears at the end.
