Doomlord will be on sale early next week, pictured is a Fred tale, featuring Doomlord, written and starring the late Barrie Tomlinson.
An interesting find. Possibly Judge Dredd's first appearance in North America! It's French language and apparently published in Quebec in 1980.
The return of Lawless in the Dredd Megazine is great! I know I have said it before, but I do see a lot of Paddy Brennan's style in Winslades art. Pictured is a DPS by Winslade- like one of Brennans famous DPS from the old Dandy and Beano annuals It also has a nice feature on Doomlord too!
Here's something I was not aware of- a magazine reprinting the Judge Dredd newspaper strip in the US! Comic Revue was a continuation of the great Menomonee Falls Gazette and Dredd appeared in at least issues 76-80. Anyone have any more information? Buy Hibernia comics here www.hiberniacomics.com

Continuing on the Wizard appreciation, from Wizard, 1976. A wonderful page by Carlos Ezquerra, you can see his signature on the top right panel, slightly obscured by text.

A recent pickup, I had never heard of before. Its tabloid, 20 pages with well written newspaper style articles on comics up to the fifties. No author named that I can see, but there is an article on Phil Clarke and Denis Gifford is mentioned, it does feel like Gifford production. Nice curio.
