Here's my controversial opinion: Hitchcock should have switched his lead men for "Rear Window" and "Notorious": Stewart as the straight-laced FBI guy seduced by Bergman, Cary Grant as the playboy photographer amusingly (sexually) frustrated by his injury.

Lee Grice@leegrice.bsky.social · 4d agoRereading the 1963 miniseries by Alan Moore, Rick Veitch, Steve Bissette et al - its such an odd series, wildly entertaining, but almost too good a pastiche, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be laughing at it or just enjoying it straight. Its making me want to reread Moore's Supreme and WildCATS too
