I made it to the Obama presidential library today. It’s joyful place filled with bright, loving people. It was thrilling to relive the time of hope. But it was dispiriting to think about what we’ve lost. That said, I left feeling inspired and know that all is not lost.

A surprising number of “random screenings” at PDX TSA security this afternoon. There was a line of people randomly selected for electronic device heightened screening. My phone screen was quick, but the laptop was a bit slower. In a past era, I would’ve shrugged. But that was then.

Far right Oregon gubernatorial candidate Christine Drazen called our COVID-19 prison class action a “weak lawsuit.” I’m sure she’s read more than 90 depositions, a million pages of discovery, and 600+ federal court filings to arrive at her genius take. Nothing compares to MAGA ignorance.
