I’m putting out my shingle again as a math education consultant! I’m particularly interested in leveraging my experience as a curriculum designer and designer of professional development to support schools and school districts with their math curriculum.

Reading "The Art of Coaching" by Jenny Bird & Sarah Gornall, and am struck by this observation: "Be alert for third-party coaching; remind the client the only person they can change is themselves."

At the School Leaders Meetup in Hong Kong learning from others about how they are successfully using AI in their schools. I'm a bit of an AI skeptic, but I'm always interested in learning and seeing if there are ways technology can be used productively. #toddlemeetup

Asking the UK mathematicians on BlueSky. What is your definition of a face? In North America, we use this definition in English: "a face is a flat surface (a planar region) that forms part of the boundary of a solid object." So for a cylinder, the two ends of the cylinder are faces. #ukmath #maths
