Oh God. A Grandma in Kyiv waited for rescuers to find her grandson in the rubble after the Russian strike. They found his body... Journalist and eyewitness Maryan Kushnir wrote: "Cries of grief were heard across all of Solomianka. This woman's cry tore everything from the inside…" 📹: Channel 5

Today I saw a video of a little boy laughing after slipping on an icy path. He laughed so hard at his own fall. The woman who posted it wrote: "It was our last calm New Year. This boy is no more, russia killed him. He was just 2m short of his 7th birthday." Our russophobia will never be sufficient

The discourse on the war in Ukraine is often ruined by bad-faith straw men and false binaries. While nobody is seriously claiming the war is over and Russia has already lost, it remains completely fair to point out that Russia is actively losing the unprovoked war it started

Yet another market. Russia commits genocide in plain sight, and Europe is trying to get a negotiated settlement. We have a legal duty to stop genoicde. Genocide isn't stopped by negotiation, but by force.

This is Dnipro tonight after a russian аttack. I’m afraid the world is getting used to the brutаІ crіmеs committed by russia and is starting to stop reacting. Please, don’t get used to it. Because behind these numbers are lives that were taken. Tonight in Dnipro, 2 people were 💔, 19 were іnjured.

For years Ukraine tried to warn the world about russia, about disinformation, and about how war itself was changing. Many leaders brushed it aside. Now the same countries are asking Ukraine for help.
