( A friend is facing extreme hardship providing for his elderly parents due to Trump administration's meddling with DACA status. This is insane to me because out of our friend group he was probably the most successful/highest earner and he's at risk of losing all of that because of racist bs )

Urgent Mutual Aid Ask DACA recipient waiting for status / employment authorization renewal urgently needs funds for food, rent, and hospital bills. Has been unemployed for 5 months while waiting for authorization. Daca recipient urgently needs funds for rent, food, and medical bills. They applied to renew their i821d and i-765 on time, but have yet to receive it. Until their papers are processed, they aren't allowed to drive or work. They have burned through all of their savings to support themselves and their two elderly undocumented parents. They have been out of work for 5 months. They applied for their papers on time but haven't received it due to the current administrations aim to increase self deportation. Their mother just had two major surgeries and the hospital stay alone cost $20,000 and because of their status and state laws, they don't have insurance. Their rent is $1380 a month and they will not be able to pay rent next month without assistance. Please consider donating, they are trapped in a horrible situation outside of their control and could use the help.

i wish i had happier news about Rawan during all this fun stuff right now, but her mom's doing bad enough that they've started her on an IV for the issues with her eye. She's still $855 away from making surgery- please help! chuffed.org/project/1486...
