I'm delighted to be co-hosting this CPD session with my good friend and colleague, Terri Harrison from the Nature Nurture project. Understanding how our brains and bodies work together to lay foundations for and help us to find the gaps in children's mathematical learning.

Something we do really, really well at Mucky Boots is Slow Pedagogy. It just feels right for the children and staff. There's nothing quite like knowing about flow state, experiencing it yourself and seeing it in the children. It's such a powerful vehicle for learning and wellbeing.

Playing in mud can be a beneficial activity for children. Brain development: The sensory stimulation and increased input from mud play helps form pathways in the brain. Motor skills: Children use their smaller muscles by squishing, squeezing, scooping, mixing, and pouring mud. #EarlyYearsSky
