I went to poetry group this evening, and since I got home I’ve been watching videos of a man playing heavy metal music on rubber chickens. I think that balances out the pseudo intellectualism nicely.

Mother of cats, 🐈⬛🐈🐈⬛💩💩🐈⬛ I love Rock and metal, crafts, cooking and baking, and Greece of course! Made in Sheffield but living on the Wirral with Andy
Apart from my lunchtime sandwich, I’ve also made chilli for this evening’s meal, the potato and veg part of what will be a traybake with sausages for tomorrow’s meal, and a carrot cake for tonight’s poetry group. The cream cheese frosting for that is firming up in the fridge. Still guac to make too
Made myself a treat for a late lunch, poached salmon and boiled egg, on a ciabatta roll. Andy doesn’t like either of those fillings so I don’t eat them all that often
Currently at 69% of our target (nice) -- we really need to book Mango & the wonky kittens in for scans & treatment ASAP. So here's our promise: if we hit the goal by the end of the week, we will keep wobbly dwarf kitten Chessie and name her Smolla Paula www.gofundme.com/f/emergency-...
I finished reading Elizabeth Strout’s novel Things We Never Say last night. It’s one of the Booker long list books. I love her writing, I’ve read a couple of her other books and have a small pile of more to read. I found the book very moving and thought provoking. Probably why I didn’t sleep well!
My shoe rack in the bedroom has collapsed with a crash. Just missed half of Only Connect and the first ten minutes of University Challenge tidying it all up. I can’t think why it should have collapsed *side eyes Sherpa Stan🐈⬛ the climbing addict*
I’ve got a bit of a headache. I’ll take an aspirin, it’ll help thin my “sticky” blood too
Back to scanning artwork. Some originals will be on sale, some prints, and I’m starting to curate so I can put together the much vaunted exhibition I keep threatening… These will be in the 2026 Clarkive sale. Prices in alt if you want to reserve (DM me)! #art #bsnm #artforsale #originalart #artist
Our arsehole neighbour was still making a row at 3.30am gaming with his immature friends so I will be tired and grumpy today.

I had almost nine hours sleep last night, which is half as much again as what i normally manage. I am still tired, and have gone back to bed 🥺
Even with earplugs in I can hear cats thundering around the flat. I would like to apologise to our downstairs neighbour.

The fatigue has caught up with me already today. Trying to resist the very strong urge to go to bed. The struggle is real.
Just walked back from dropping off Andy’s car at the garage through pouring rain. Luckily I keep an umbrella in the boot of his car. And of course the rain stopped the moment I reached home 🙄
I don’t work Fridays so I was thinking hurrah I can have a lie in tomorrow. I forgot I’m taking Andy’s car in for some work doing while he uses my car for his commute. So no lie in for me 😩
Stan🐈⬛ had some turkey when I was making my sandwich for lunch just now. He’s now running round the flat singing, even though I told him not to let on to the others 😹 🐈⬛💩💩🐈🐈⬛🗯️ what did we miss?
Urgh I’m so tired. Apparently fatigue is one of the symptoms of the blood thing I’ve just been told I’ve got, which accounts for a lot. I am constantly tired these days, no matter what sleep I have
Len🐈⬛💩💩 has chucked up a load of water all over our bed. Having to change the bedding before I can go to sleep was not on my bingo card for today. Poor lad seems ok now though, fingers crossed 🥺
It’s called erythrocytosis. Aren’t I the fancy pants 😬
Oh and apparently I have sticky blood. Whatever that means* * I have too much haemoglobin
