Out today: The Cedar & The Sapphire by Miles Nelson, the delightful sequel to his The Forge & The Flood. Continuing the story of the Lutra and the Ailura, and especially Indigo and Sienna, the book is once again about love and hope, and those who support you when you're struggling.

Cover image by Miles Nelson, for his The Cedar & The Sapphire. On a white background, two animals sit facing away from the viewer between grass and yellow flowers. On the left is a Lutra (like an otter) with blue fur dappled with light grey speckles. On the right is an Ailura (like a red panda) with a brown coat and a bushy tail ringed with white stripes. The two animals are snuggled together, tails intertwined.

Been playing Elite Dangerous, most recently as part of the player-run four-month long Distant Worlds 3 expedition. My ship at the end of the trip, and now, after an extensive modular, engineering and cosmetic refit.

Book launch for Rosie Oliver's A Truth Beyond Sense, set on Miranda (moon of Uranus) at Satellite 9 on Sat 17.30. Rosie will read, answer questions, sell and sign copies. There will be refreshments!

We are thrilled to reveal the cover of Rosie Oliver's new book, A Truth Beyond Sense, created by Alex Storer. Out on May 15th. Hear a reading from Rosie at Satellite 9 in Glasgow later in May.

Cover by Alex Storer, of A Truth Beyond Sense by Rosie Oliver. Grey, textured rock background, around the edges foliage and plants suggestive of greenhouses used to grow food. In the middle, a hole, apparently looking into a tunnel with stalactites and stalagmites, a bright light source at the far end permeates the tunnel with a greenish light, a figure in a space suit struggling to walk between the stalagmites.

We're on our way to #Eastercon2026 in Birmingham. Hopefully the roads won't be jammed yet! We'll be in the Dealers' hall all weekend, and have a launch event on Saturday afternoon at 4:30. Come and say hello… and maybe buy some books ;-)

Image showing the covers of the two books being ‘launched’ on Saturday at 16:30 in the Sussex Room at Eastercon: The Fall of Faerie by Rebecca Hall, and Fourth Seed by Terry Jackman. Also photographs of the two authors. It also mentions that the launch event includes Readings, Signings, and Refreshments.

After a *saga* of a process (long story), we can finally share the cover for 'Old Phuul' by Dan Stride. Dark fantasy with rotting empires, ancient faith, shadow-stalking inquisitors, and one very stubborn woman who refuses to -ahem- let the dead stay dead. Coming August 1st!
