Spent the morning building a new @deadghostpro.com Discord server and working on ways to better track ship combat in Dungeons and Dragons (thanks Voidsea) and Star Trek Adventures on Roll20 and DnD Beyond.

A digital tabletop game interface for a sci-fi space battle. In the center is a large, rocky, brown and white planet set against a starry space background, surrounded by a radar-like grid of dashed concentric circles and radial lines. On the left is a glowing green control panel for a green Romulan starship, featuring adjustable tracks with yellow pegs for "Shields," "Power," and various ship systems like engines and weapons. A corresponding Romulan ship token sits on the grid near the planet. On the right is a glowing blue control panel for a Federation starship, with identical tracking systems. A Federation ship token is positioned on the right side of the grid. At the bottom are three blue circular tokens on the left and seven red circular tokens on the right, all bearing the Starfleet insignia.A digital tabletop roleplaying game interface set up for a naval encounter. The background is a textured golden-orange color. In the center is a large, ornate dark wood frame enclosing a gridded map of bright teal ocean water, which contains two tiny rowboats. To the left of the frame is a top-down view of a large, wide wooden sailing ship equipped with cannons. The deck is populated with numerous green-bordered character tokens, with labels indicating various types of Dwarves. To the right of the frame is a top-down view of a smaller, narrower wooden sailing ship containing a handful of dark-bordered character tokens representing a different crew.

I'm running two games, one after the other, and then releasing them interwoven. Kill the Reich is going to be run as written, smashing up Paris to kill Nazis. Night's Black Agents runs 50 years later to trace through the wreckage and eliminate any residual threats.

You’ve been tasked with creating a TTRPG actual play! You have access to any players, any system and any budget. What you running? With who? And how?

A bookshelf packed with ttrpg sourcebooks. A glorious sight.

When we started making @killeverymonster.com, it was partially an exercise in venting frustration. It is also because, after years around the periphery of the people who design games I love, I wanted an excuse to talk to people I thought were cool. It's worked bafflingly well.

If you are making actual play TTRPG content, whether as a producer, GM or player, why do you do it? Are you intentional and thinking about your audience? Are you making something with the specific idea of someone else consuming the product, no matter how big or small that audience is?

I had a truly amazing GenCon, despite only playing one game. I think what I needed out of this convention was just to be around beautiful people that remind me why I play games. Thank you all for being amazing.
