Saw someone leave a nasty comment on a DIY IG post and clicked on their profile to block. It was private, but the bio said “I’ve been leaving mean and pissy comments. I’m sorry. I’m very unhappy.” Kudos for the self-awareness, I guess? But stop spewing your sewer-water on other folks and GET HELP.

there is literally no amount of caveats or careful wording that will protect you from stupidity or bad faith, so you might as well say things straightforwardly and strongly to begin with.

Oooooh, today I get to do one of my favorite author nerd things where I map out my target page count that I 100% will not stick to. Then I’m going to lavish post-it notes on the printout of this manuscript because I am an old.
Man, the sooner people understand that evil doesn’t come with a neon sign and creepy theme song to announce its presence, the better. Evil can be found behind the nicest of façades. It can speak softly and make you laugh and remind you of a favorite teacher. IT IS STILL EVIL.
Folks have got to stop acting like the man baked a chocolate cake when we all know his life was a poo torte. His choices are his legacy.
To be a historian is to speak ill of the dead and the rest of you should take more history classes and join us.
I keep hoping LG left a “to be released in the event of my death” tell-all with receipts. Of course, he DIDN’T. But a girl can dream.
