Here are 543 images (1.5GB) of items at the Philadelphia Museum of Art arms and armor exhibit You're free to use them for anything, even commercially. I tried to focus on details not usually represented in available reference material drive.google.com/file/d/1NRzg... Here's a small sampling:

A closeup view of an ornate cuirass and tasset, showing heart-shaped designs along the edges of the metal panels. An extremely ornate ceremonial halberd head showing etched and blackened designs with various plants, mythical creatures, and heraldic designs.A closeup of the shoulder intersection of the cuirass, pauldron, and bevor of a piece of 1500s field armor. Some ornate etching of the crucifixion is visible in the lower right corner on the cuirass.

Oh, carousel is back. Let's see how some of the illustrations for my book work with it. It's rare to get to see a lot of them together. Unless you live on my hard drive. 📖🎨

Well things really haven't panned out how I hoped lately. I'm opening commissions again as I'm really quite in need of funds. To the point where I am very much looking at homelessness unless I can turn things around. Please either email me requests or order through my ko-fi page. ❤️ #art #commissions

Love walking along the canal near my home this time of year. Any time of year really. It's set quite a way down from street level and it's like walking through a secret little forgotten gully if you catch it right.

Ok so trying to carry the established style into scenes that are meant to depict stuff happening in the narrative is actually stupid hard. It's at this point I'm questioning why the heck I did this to myself. 🤔 #wip (no it's not AI)

Trying to put together a market scene in a long established style for my book.

Fun fact: most of the awesome artists you follow don’t believe they’re all that awesome (silly, right?). But, you can totally tell them they’re awesome and repost their lovely posts to remind them that they really are great. 🥰

dragons dogma 2 character creator is still free to download by the way and beats using AI! especially those with humanoid characters could whip up a realistic look of your character real quick with the help of it, and even have some fun in the process instead of yknow, wasting water and energy!

Nothing quite like finding out the hiring managed didn't find your application that interesting after all, and that the phone call you were told to wait for isn't going to come, than by seeing the job you applied for re-listed without a word. I'm so tired. 😑

Mock up? Ok, ok. I know. I'm getting ahead of myself, but let a man dream. ✍️📖 It's also not going to be done this year, like I hoped. Too much stuff has gotten in the way :( BUT! I am still very much enjoying myself when I do get time to sit down with it. It has come such a long way.

Today is the day that I wonder if my 39th orbit will be any better than the previous 38. It is also the day I stare in solemn, measured indignation at the unceasing approach of the 40th. 🎂
