Bats (mostly pipistrelles) roost in & around our home (the house is 160+ years old). At dusk, in warmer months, brown long-eared bats drop from their roost in the overhang above the lounge window & fly to the wood across the road. It's always encouraging to see such wildness so close to home. 🦇
