The daily energy consumption of the average data center could fully charge 1,700 EVs. With ~4,000 data centers in the US, that’s a FULL charge of 6.8 million EVs, everyday.

I see this a lot and it makes me feel a bit crazy. GUYS! The “tracking devices” in EVs are the same “tracking devices” in ICE cars! THE TELEMATICS UNITS DON’T CHANGE! Also just to be clear, it’s not the cars that are tracking you, it’s your phone, but you won’t stop using that.

It is a good move, from everyone I have known, they have all but one, gotten rid of their EV,s and gone back to gas models. For several reasons, one big one being all the tracking devices on EV's, the cost of batteries. If EV's is what people want they have other choices.

Statistically, once someone buys an EV, they will not buy another gas car. Honda, who has decided to remove all EV models from the US, will lose all of its customers who bought EVs from them previously. Genius move. No notes.
