So in #Census2026, my 12 year old is considered too young to have a gender identity and sexual preference, but old enough to have a religion. Young enough to not clock things intrinsic to themselves, but old enough to comprehend potential supernatural origins, meanings and complexities of existence.

#Census2026 isn't just a collective scream into the void. It determines how much funding goes to services provided by religiously-affiliated institutions. If we want services aligned available with our moral priorities, and not limited by others' beliefs, accurate date is vital. #Nones #AusPol

Was literally watching 1998's #Merlin when my wife mentioned #SamNeill had died. I'd been watching it after the 1997 adaptation of #TheOdyssey by the same team, and was shocked at how well both had aged. Miranda Richardson, Martin Short, Helena Bonham-Carter, Rutger Hauer and a young Lena Headey.
