As a Zillennial, I often feel like I live in a completely different reality than people my age and younger because I deleted TikTok after using it for a week in 2020. A good decision, but I swear it dramatically affects the way I relate to and make friends with people.

One of my most Elder Millennial traits is that I have literally never downloaded TikTok and only ever access it for work and I am convinced that was one of the wisest decisions of my adult life.

Biological Sex is chromosomes, hormones, gametes, gonads, a whole load of epigenetic stuff, various organs like breasts etc The only reason transphobes go on and on about chromosomes is because they are the only part you can't change with transition, not because they're important. They aren't

I often get emails from viewers that contain arguments for or against the existence of god written by Chat GPT. Those writing me suggest that since the prompts included “make a purely logical argument,” the “AI” did so and revolutionized philosophy. Yall, please watch one video on how LLMs work.

I don’t think “The Woke Mind Virus” is a metaphor for many. Certain folks believe it is an actual pathogen - a mental illness - that infects LGBTQ people and anyone who supports them. It looks like a new venue has opened up for people to push the pathologization of non-conformity and tolerance.

NEW: Meta changed its Community Guidelines today to permit "allegations of mental illness or abnormality when based on gender or sexual orientation, given political and religious discourse about transgenderism and homosexuality" @knibbs.bsky.social www.wired.com/story/meta-i...

My research on the origins of the phrase “the woke mind virus” has led me to a book by Gad Saad about “brain parasites such as postmodernism” and a “mind vaccine” of free speech. Fml. Let’s hope I can kill this thing in one weekend or else I might actually welcome a plague to devour my brain.

"We're just speaking about biological reality!" No, you're making very specific policy prescriptions, weighing in on the ethical implications of medical treatment, telling certain people that they aren't worth our community's care, and lecturing us on how to best spend our time as advocates.

As you hear talk of a “schism” in the atheist community, keep the actual numbers in mind. The VAST majority of atheists in the US believe that *society has not gone far enough* to accept trans people. Atheist elites are ludicrously unrepresentative of US atheism and they are just finding that out.

The right-wing atheists claim groups like FFRF used to have "3 times the membership" when they were less "woke." I looked at the membership numbers FFRF reported at their October convention. Must be fun to surround yourself with "critical thinkers" who'll believe any lie you tell them.

"That's because the woke freaks are the only members they have left

These organizations used to have 3 times the membership"

A kid in my youth group would occasionally litter (very deliberately) while saying something like “I hate the environment.” Their parents were the most Rush-Limbaugh-Republican Christians I’ve ever known. Others in the church stressed “being a good steward of God’s creation,” a preferable theology.

Oh yeah, the people in my childhood churches scoffed at recycling and called environmentalists nature worshipers or, in an outright racist version, “Hindus”
