World Breastfeeding Week was last week, so last week I sketched out my experience with it. Of course, I have a brand new baby, so I couldn’t finish the comic until THIS week. But it’s good to talk about tough topics even when it isn’t a week that’s dedicated to them!
Unfortunately I did, in fact, drop ice cream on the baby.

Since bringing her home, she’s upgraded to also preferring at least one hand out of the swaddle as well. It’s crazy how quickly babies start showing their little personalities!

They don’t really disclose how bad the back pain gets in third trimester. Tamale is supportive, but she’s also spayed, so I think in a way she hangs out near me to rub it in that she doesn’t have to go through any of this.

We’ve come a very long way from “wait a couple seconds to feel her move”. Now she is visible from the outside and has a habit of propping her feet up against my stomach so you see/feel two little lumps. This day she decided to show off at dinner. Our friends weren’t ready for that.
